Tank Up slang a hit with fans - Noface Unknown

Dancehall artiste Noface Unknown has discovered that fans are now using his 'tank up' slang to keep weekly events in their areas.

"Two set of people inna Montego Bay link me fi resolve a conflict because one set a keep a Tank Up Thursdays two times a month and another set a keep 'Tank Up Saturdays', so mi fix things for them. Right now, the tank up a spread all over. People a link me via Facebook seh dem waan use the name inna Portland as well," he said.

Earlier this month, the deejay had his first number one hit with Tank Up, which went to the top position of the FIWI Choice Top 10 charts for two straight weeks. The video has generated more than 40,000 views on YouTube, and is now on VEVO.

GETTING AIRPLAY

In the meantime, the artiste is generating a lot of airplay on radio and in the streets. "More than 200 people a subscribe to mi music on YouTube. People a link from all over the world, all over Jamaica, Spanish Town, Trelawny, Montego Bay, the song ah tek over. Crazy money pull-up at dances in Montego Bay; mi see it get 20 pull-up one night," he said.

Other singles to watch for include I Am The Chosen and Happy Like This. He has also released a song Nah Reach No Weh on the Desconocido Music label.
