File D'Yani

Emerging recording star D'Yani continues to win over new fans with his music and good looks.

His latest conquest occurred this past weekend at Chaser's CafE on Belmont Road in Kingston, where he was among the performers at Heart in the Art, a showcase of young musical talent and live art.

D'Yani, who has made quite an impact on the local scene since his recent emergence, wowed the audience with his acoustic performance of Soul Rebel, Give Away My Love, and Sad Story. He engaged the audience during his short set, which was well received by those who are his fans and others who would have seen him for the first time.

"I got some amazing reviews from the patrons," he told THE STAR afterwards. "They liked that I was very interactive, especially with Give Away My Love. That, along with Sad Story, was well received."

It was a performance that will be the foundation for other performances coming up soon, including the launch of the Garnet Silk Jr album Let Reuben Live at the Red Bones CafE on Thursday, June 2.

D'Yani has also been busy recording for a number of producers on projects that are expected to be released in the near future. Among them is a single that is expected to be released sometime next month.
