Wray & Nephew launches Our Spirit
J Wray and Nephew White Overproof Rum, as it continues its celebration of the Jamaican spirit, will launch its Our Spirit media campaign today with simultaneous celebrations with consumers across all parishes.
The festivities will be accompanied by the official premiere of the brand’s most recent television commercial celebrating the dynamic spirit of Jamaica at 7:12 p.m. on both TVJ and CVM TV and Digital Boards islandwide.
Gary Dixon, marketing director at J Wray & Nephew Limited, explained the company’s excitement: “This campaign is of particular importance to us as we recognise how tightly woven the Wray Rum brand is within the fabric of Jamaican culture. This remains our most extensive campaign to date and marks the climax of over a year of research and feedback from our loyal consumers, and we’re extremely pleased to be able to share in this moment with them.”
Members of the J. Wray & Nephew Limited team will travel islandwide buying the first round of drinks and traditional Jamaican soups, free of cost to patrons at 70 bars across the 14 parishes between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. today.
“We want to celebrate with all our consumers and so all across the island we will be buying a round of drinks, and soup, for every patron over the age of 18 at every participating bar, raising our glasses and cheering the Jamaican spirit,” said Dixon.
