Huntah strikes with new single

Dancehall artiste Huntah is making strides in the local music industry.

The Clarendon-born deejay, whose real name is Dewayne Jones, is riding a wave of success with his single, Queen Over Your Life featuring Lukie D.

The song, was produced by Huntah and released on his Huntah Records imprint is enjoying heavy rotation.

"I'm very pleased with the support that this song is getting. It's been out two months now, and it's receiving tremendous airplay," said the artiste.

Huntah is also promoting two other singles, Facebook featuring Lion on the Lion Conqueror Production label, and Alkibulan (Huntah Records).

"These songs are also getting steady rotation, and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback from my fans about them."

Huntah is working on several projects to be released later this year, including a seven-track EP.

"I'm recording some new songs, most of them will be released as singles and some of them will be on my EP," said Huntah.

Huntah is a past student of Clarendon College. He began his career in 2001 after moving from Longville, Clarendon to live in Kingston. After years of recording for various producers, he made his breakthrough in 2014 with the self-produced single, Will You Remember Me featuring Ghost.
