It will be a soca and EDM fusion event like none other on Saturday, July 2 at Appleton Estate's EDX, all-day, all-night party set to explode at Grizzly's Plantation Cove in Ocho Rios, St Ann.

A drinks-inclusive electronic dance music party, the event has moved from its original venue of the Caymanas Polo Club to the more spacious Plantation Cove.

Production team member and spokesperson, Adam Gomes, was in high spirits when he spoke about the award-winning event, which this year has Appleton Estate as its title sponsor and which is creating quite a stir on social media.

"We couldn't be more excited about this year's show. With a spectacular venue, bigger International acts, and the addition of Soca Fusion on the Beach. We believe this will be the most talked-about event in Jamaica for a while to come," Gomes said.

EDX has attracted big name international acts in soca and EDM. Headlining the Beach Soca Fusion will be sizzling soca ambassador, Alison Hinds, Richie Ras, DJ Sekou, and DJ Lantern. Waving the flag high for EDM will be Gareth Emery, English electronic dance music producer and DJ.

The promoters have already signed off on a shuttle service for patrons.

"We will be using the JUTC luxury buses from Kingston end, and we also have buses which will shuttle patrons from Pier One," Gomes said. Tickets are available online at www.yardticket.com and Fontana Pharmacy islandwide.
