Ricky Blaze aims to conquer the summer
Billboard-charting producer/recording artiste, Ricky Blaze, is gearing up for a busy summer season with an arsenal of new music including a new album.
Known for his work on Gyptain's Hold Yu hit record, Busy Signal's Cah Buy Me Out and his own hit single, I Feel Free, Ricky Blaze hopes his new album, Conquer the Moment, will be the talk of summer 2016.
The album sees Blaze joining forces with dancehall/reggae stars Shaggy, Gyptian, Kranium, Tifa, Future Fambo, Blak Ryno, esteemed saxophonist, Dean Fraser, among others.
Speaking with THE WEEKEND STAR the producer said his goal is to make good music.
"I just feel like, as the young youth who represent our culture in these days, we should be great and give our all to make great music moments that can live with people forever.
To be both the artiste and producer comes natural, it's just about the creative process and how the music is arranged that makes the cake.
So, as long as the songs have the vibe they are supposed to have, it doesn't matter whether I'm the artiste or it's recorded with a collaborator," Ricky Blaze said.
Conquer The Moment is available for purchase on iTunes.
The producer also collaborated with producers Peter Fire and Spin Citi of Chief Music, for the release, of a new compilation, Pretenders Rhythm.
The compilation features music from Morgan Heritage, Jah Nah Sleep; Gyptian, Turn Me Up; Natural Black, Never Give Up; Kranium, Hype; and reggae crooner I-Wayne with the title track, Pretenders.
The rhythm can be streamed on soundcloud.com/fmerecordings.
