THE STAR was told that the song is a cultural item, inspired by real events in the artiste's life. Jah Whispa, like many others, started to explore their musical talent through the Church. He said his journey started from the early age of 10.
"My actual singing started in church, I was a member of the Spanish Town Revival Open Bible Church Youth Choir, this helped to strengthen my craft and enhance my awareness," he said.
Even while attending Spanish Town High School, he was involved in concerts where he would entertain the audience.
"My inspiration comes from the likes of Luciano, Garnet Silk, Bob Marley and Dennis Brown, so much so that I sang many of their songs,"Jah Whispa said.
The creative artiste said he will continue his musical journey and revealed that he is now working on a number of projects to get his share of the musical pie.
