Black Mattic drops third album
The much-anticipated album for international dancehall artiste Black Mattic is set to be released on July 8.
Re-Loaded, the deejay's third album, features Beenie Man on the track Bare, while Working People features the vocals of Bugle and those of Kumar the lead singer of fast- rising reggae group Raging Fyah.
The lead single If A Never You, produced by 3D, has been gaining traction on local radio and on social media, prompting a great deal of optimism from the former Norman Manley High student.
"There's a great deal of energy surrounding the album on a whole, but the lead single in particular, it's a song that couples can relate to. The buzz has convinced me that this album will do very well," Black Mattic said.
He believes having the vocals of dancehall stalwarts Beenie Man and Bugle will also bring attention to the album.
"The tracks with Beenie Man and Bugle, along with Kumar, are going to be off the chain," said the entertainer who made his debut six years ago. "I am very sure the public will fall in love with them."
The album, which is being distributed by Zojak Worldwide, was produced by 3D from Renaissance, Di Architect, Tray R and Cashflow Records. It will be available for pre-order on July 24th on iTunes, as an iTunes featured album.
Black Mattic's two other albums, Hot Grabba and Black Label, were released in 2009 and 2012, respectively.
