Reggae artiste Nature Ellis has had a breakout year in 2016, courting international success and recognition with the single Love You, which was distributed by Sony Music.

Now, the artiste is one of the headliners for the Reggae Night of the upcoming Reggae Sumfest festival in Montego Bay. Over the past three years, he has been widely regarded by music critics as one of the best reggae performers in Jamaica.

"The world is mine, not just Montego Bay. Being able to perform in Montego Bay is a wonderful feeling and it is a real privilege to perform in my hometown, because that is where it all started," Nature Ellis said.

Last year, Ellis delivered a marque performance, showing nimble footwork and utilising the entire stage to send patrons into wild cheers as he wowed the crowd with Revolution, Trying Man and World Peace.

Now he will be looking to repeat that feat. "I have a few new tricks up my sleeve. I am going to 'shell' Sumfest, 30 minutes of great reggae music and good vibe," he said.

Earlier this year, Nature Ellis inked a deal with Ultra Music, which is owned by Britian-born Patrick Moxey, to market Love You. The song is featured on Nature's debut album, Life's Journey. Once Sumfest ends, Nature will be heading to California, UK, and Holland during a tour that begins on July 24 and ends on August 19.
