Notorious JA ready for big break
United States-based dancehall artiste Notorious JA is ready to make his mark on the on the local music scene. The talented entertainer, whose real name is Leon Williams, was born and raised in Denbigh in May Pen, Clarendon.
Despite migrating to Miami several years ago, Notorious JA has not lost touch with his Jamaican roots. "I'm a straight up dancehall artiste, living in the US takes nothing away from my musical style. I'm 100 percent Jamaican, and Jah has blessed me with the talent to make music that makes people happy. I've been working at my craft for many years, and now I'm ready for my slice of the pie, it's my time to shine now," said the artiste.
Notorious JA is currently in Jamaica promoting two hot new singles, Can't Stop Me (Gone Music) and Make Money (Victorious Music Production).
"Since my arrival, I've been very busy in the streets promoting my new singles. Everything is going well so far; it's a good look," he said.
The hard-working deejay also plans to work on several new projects during his stay on the island.
"I have to record on some of the hot new rhythms before I go back to Florida," said Notorious JA.
