Versi to shoot Pon Di Ends video
Dancehall artiste Versi will be shooting a video for his single, Pon Di Ends, produced by the brilliant beat-maker Jay Crazie, next week.
"The song just connect on so many different levels, crazy people ah link say mi need to do a video because it ah get whole heap of play inna the 14 parishes. The energy right, so mi ah go video it soon," Versi, born Sheldon Taylor, said.
Since its release, Pon Di Ends has been getting excellent rotation from heavyweight disc jockeys on major FM radio stations in Jamaica and overseas.
"Mi grateful to all the disc jocks and selectors who ah give this a big push on air, and on social media. This ah go be a huge song for the summer," he said.
The deejay is also continuing to push his Made It EP, featuring nine songs which was released last year.
The deejay is looking forward to his annual show, 'Beach Cawvinz', to be held at Shan Shy Beach in Port Antonio on July 31. The event is sponsored by Guinness and Xclusiv Vodka. "Part proceeds from the show will be in aid of the Boundbrook Primary school," he said.
The deejay is best known for songs like Made It, Nah Be Ungrateful, Friend Till The End and Ride The Jockey'.
