BEST AND WORST OF SUMFEST FASHION
Sumfest was as much about fashion as it was about lyrics and showboating. And as it was the case with the lyrics unleashed over two days at Catherine Hall, St James, there were many hits and misses in the fashion department.
Devin Di Dakta: Boomshalazumgoshman...Devin Di Dakta's Romeich suit was tailored to perfection. He looked amazing. This is how a suit should fit a man.
Miss Kitty: Lalalalalala...the Fluffy Diva was definitely regal in her white on dancehall night and black on international night. ...the dress dem siddung pon her curves!
Beenie Man: We never inna wha dem inna, we ever clean ... Beenie Man's red coat over his crisp white suit was one of the best outfits at the event. His entrance via a trap door beneath the stage was also spectacular.
Busy Signal: Watch Out Fi Dis ... Busy Signal looked debonair in his navy blue suit. He even attempted some wining moves...But we could only focus on the suit.
Popcaan: The Unruly Boss entered the stage in cut off-foot jeans, a t-shirt and a ski mask; He also dragged along a suitcase to 'take home the show in'. He really should have packed some better clothes in that suitcase.
Super Cat: Apparently Super Cat did not get the memo that we are in 2016...nor does he realise that they invented the iron. Who allowed him to come out in a crushed white suit, gold shoes and gold umbrella?
Barry G: MC Barry G did two outfit changes and none made sense. Leave the pattern jackets to Elephant Man and get a tailor to adjust those pants.
