Oceana, Crazy Hype 'Brace' for success
International songstress Oceana and Jamaican dancer and recording artiste Crazy Hype, recently 'coupled' up releasing the single Brace.
The video for the single, which was shot in Los Angeles and produced by Rich Music from the Netherlands, is gaining international traction with more than 90,000 views on YouTube.
The video features Oceana's skilled vocals and creative choreography which pulls influence from both Caribbean and European dance styles, paying homage to the duo's heritage. Since the release, the couple has performed on international events and television programmes in Los Angeles, Germany, Russia and Poland.
They are now back in Jamaica and ready to promote. "We will be hitting the streets and completing our media runs and letting the wider Caribbean feel the energy from this new single" said Crazy Hype.
Oceana was born and raised in Germany. Her first album 'Love Supply', sold gold in three countries. Her hit single Endless Summer from her second album, 'My House', was the official song for European Soccer Champiosnhips 2012. The single sold platinum with more than 80 million views on YouTube.
Crazy Hype, from St Catherine, has performed all over the world with his dance troupe MOB (Men of Business). He has taught dancehall in several countries in Europe and was the chief judge on 'Juste Debout' one of the biggest urban dance event in the world.
This came after dancehall was added as a category for the first time in 2013.
