Fast rising dancehall artiste Ryzin recently staged a back to school treat for the children of the Mount Industry Primary School in St Catherine.

The event which was dubbed 'Study Unuh Book Back To School Bash', took place last Saturday. It was well attended, as hundreds of children from the Mount Industry area, and their parents turned out.

The treat began at 11 a.m. and featured a lot of activities for the children. They were all treated to food and drinks and given back to school supplies including school bags, pens, pencils, crayons, reading books and erasers.

"The treat was a tremendous success all the kids had a great time. Every child who attended received back to school supplies," said Ryzin.

The Boston-based deejay who is originally from Kingston, said he is happy that he was able to stage the event for the kids in the area.

"I am very happy that I could put on this event for the children and ease a little of the back to school pressure off their parents. I also have to say a special thank you to all the people who helped me to organise it especially Sherica Douglas," said Ryzin.

The entertainment package for the event featured performances from a number of entertainers including Ryzin, Trapykal, Naimad, Dada Frass, Barry Back and Rian Testify.
