Zuse drops new mixtape
One of the hottest acts in the rap game right now is a Jamaican. And his name is Zuse.
He is doing well stateside with his collaboration, On God, featuring Post Malone which has generated 4.7 million hits on YouTube.
"Zuse is putting up the numbers, he's rapping with the elite in the industry. He's among the new wave of acts with the new sound that has dominated the industry for the last three years. His name is constantly brought up among those who is potentially the next superstar, whether it's Kevin Gates, Post Malone, Bryson Tiller; he's right there," public relations specialist Vivian Thomas said. "Partnering with his older brother Roses, who is a mentor to him, they have decided to run or give it their best shot at the industry they love."
Other standout songs are collaborations with Kevin Gates on All I Ever Wanted, TI and Tech9 on On The Bible, and the Hustle Gang on What You Goin Do Bout It.
"All these hits ranging from a million views to eight million views on various stations. He's one of the hardest-working acts in the industry," Thomas said.
Zuse recently released a mixtape dubbed Banana Clip, which showcases a reggae rap flow that Zuse refers to as the "new God flow".
Born in Kingston, a young Zuse always saw himself as an entertainer. He recalls rapping to songs by Biggie Smalls, Jay Z, Nas and Tupac. He's also a lover of dancehall music, citing influences such as Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Terror Fabulous and Aidonia.
