Razor B under new management

Dancehall artiste Razor B has a new management team. Effective immediately, all bookings and enquiries for the artiste must be made through OG Entertainment at bookrazorb@gmail.com or by calling 1-416-414-2357/1-876-365-0396.

The artiste told THE STAR that the switch up was inevitable as he is growing in his capacity as an artiste and wants the best possible team around him to facilitate his development.

"Unfortunately, we didn't feel that the previous manager was a good fit for the team," he revealed.

"He didn't embody the level of professionalism expected and we didn't feel he had the level of experience needed to carry us through to the next level. At this time, we are realigning our entire team to make sure we have the best possible fit for Razor B. I love music, but this is a business and as I grow I want to make sure that my team is aligned to grow in the same direction, with the same vision of success for the future."

Ranjini Cassup, chief operating officer at OG Entertainment, has been put in charge of the artiste's career and is expected to take a hands-on approach as it relates to the music aspect of the business. The company believes Razor B should expect nothing less than the highest level of professionalism from them as they seek to move his career to the next level.

"Our team prides itself on professionalism, timeliness and clear and open communications. Promoters, corporate partners and fans engaging with Team Razor should expect nothing less," Cassup said.

Over the last few months, Razor B has made a name for himself in the dancehall fraternity and has had several hit songs, including Hot Up, Bruck Back, Beet Root and Up in Deh. He is optimistic that this recent change in his management will only have positive repercussions in the near future.

"We have been blessed with a very capable team and I am thankful for everyone who has supported me thus far," he said.

"I am looking forward to the changes and will continue to put in the hard work."
