The six-month old Shella Mondays party has become a hit with patrons who loyally journey to the 13 Omara Road, Kingston 10 venue on a weekly basis.

When The WEEKEND STAR team arrived at the venue at 1 a.m., the party was in full swing and the ladies, led by popular female dancer, Bend Up, and her Venom Dancers squad, danced up a storm much to the delight of onlookers.

"This party haffie shot because we don't bench the girls them these selectors see that the ladies are entertained," one patron said. The musical presentations were by DJ Sigar, DJ Teacha and DJ Valez,.

Shella Boss, Chez Darien aka True G, explains what has kept the patrons coming back for more. "The secret to Shella Mondays is keeping our ear to the group and listening to suggestions from our patrons and also a mixture of authenticity where dancehall music and culture are concerned," he said.

Here are some highlights from the party.
