Danbokidd ready to blaze dancehall
Upcoming dancehall artiste Danbokidd is ready to make his mark on the local music scene.
"Ever since I was a little boy all I've dreamed of is becoming a star. I started deejaying in primary school. I've been honing my craft for a very long time, and now I'm ready to make a significant impact in the dancehall arena," said the artiste.
Born and raised in Race Course, Trelawny, he recently released a new single, Scheemaz Anthem. The song that was produced by Dinesty King of Falmouth Dinesty Records was released in June.
Danbokidd is confident that Scheemaz Anthem will help him to move his career in an upward direction.
"My song is getting a lot of support; it's playing at all the parties in Western Jamaica. It's a good look. My team and I are doing everything we can to make it a hit," said the artiste.
The entertainer, born Dwight Bailey, is busy in the studio working on some new projects. "I have a couple of new projects in the pipeline. I'm recording a lot of new songs for various producers. I'm also preparing to release a mixtape later this year," said Danbokidd.
Danbokidd is also promoting several other singles including Tell Dem, Ballaz Free Style and Brighter Day.
