Prince is ready to reign
It's been a rocky road musically for singer Prince Reignn, but he is optimistic that his latest single 'Norbrook' could unlock the bolted doors.
Norbrook, produced by Jamie Glow and Jasi Watson, is gaining some traction on radio.
"This song's about where I'm coming from and where I want to reach and my goal in life. A lot of artistes sing about where they're coming from and the struggles they've gone through. The difference between Prince and them is that I not only sing about my struggles, I sing about my goals and the future that I want for me and my family," he explained.
Born Orayne Graham in St Thomas, he attended the St Thomas Technical High school. He played football during his school years but it was his passion for music that he decided to follow.
He did the song Out A Road in 2013, which was produced by Otneil 'Up To Earth' Graham. In 2015 he signed with Life-Style Entertainment.
Prince uses his life experiences as the backdrop to his songs. "I find my style of music unique because I sing and write about the struggles and hardships that people experience," he said.
His musical influences include Garnett Silk, Bob Marley, Bush Man, Morgan Heritage and Tarrus Riley.
