Celine Dion releases tribute for late husband
Celine Dion has released a tribute to her late husband Rene Angelil.
The 48-year-old singer debuted the emotion-filled track, called Recovering, yesterday, and in it, she opens up about her personal heartbreak.
She sings: "I am recovering / The hope that I lost / The part of my soul / That paid the cost.
"Little by little / Day by day / One step at a time / Shake off the devil / Take back my peace of mind."
During the course of the song, Celine confesses to being an anxiety addict and someone who harbours constant regrets.
Recovering was written by pop star Pink, and Celine personally thanked the 37-year-old beauty at May's Billboard Music Awards.
Celine, who accepted the Icon award at the event, paid a glowing tribute to the chart-topping singer.
"She is phenomenal. I love her for her talent, for her strength, for her focus, [for] the person she is," Celine said.
René passed away in January following a battle with throat cancer. Celine previously paid tribute to her husband during the finale of her Greatest Hits show, performing her hit track My Heart Will Go On.
