Kirky D hates 'Bad Mind' people
Dancehall artiste Kirky D is promoting his latest single, 'Bad Mind'. The song was produced by Worl Blast Music/Kirk Junior Records.
He explained the inspiration behind the song.
"The inspiration came from the experience that I had with people around me. It's just an everyday thing that I see, not with me, but with other people, including family and friends," said Kirky D.
The Connecticut-based deejay is originally from Waterhouse in Kingston.
"The main motive for doing a song like that was to make them all know that I am aware of their behaviour and bad thoughts," he added.
Bad Mind will be available on all digital platforms.
"The song has been getting crazy feedback from all over the world. It has over 27,000 views in the space of two weeks and has been getting heavy rotation on radio stations like Hitz FM and SunCity Radio. We're also getting street rotation between street parties to mixtapes. I think this can be a real hit song for me, the downloads are crazy," said Kirky D.
On September 25, Kirky D will host and perform at After Summer Wave, which takes place at the Sportsmen Athletic Club, Hartford, Connecticut. Also on the line-up are Aidonia and Elephant Man.
"People can expect nothing but one of my greatest performances. I will be doing songs like Passion For Fashion, God A God and Bad Mind. Andrew Powell will host the event with me and we will perform our new single, so we're planning to give the patrons a show for their money," he added.
