Comedian and master of ceremony Rohan Gunter, more popularly known as 'Gunter Nah Laugh', has been nominated for South Florida Entertainer of the Year at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).

The category, which is one of the biggest for the IRAWMA, features other acts such as Code Red, Daniel Musgrove, Josepheus Harris, Lejah and Zekedon.

Gunter, who won the Comedian of the Year Award in 2015 at IRAWMA, is no stranger to being a winner. He has always excelled as an overall entertainer, winning awards in Jamaica's local Comedy Buss events and placing third in the Florida-based competition known as 'Lauderhill Got Talent'.

"I am very hopeful. I have been working very hard and have a few new and rewarding projects right around the corner," he said.

The Jamaican comedian, who now resides abroad, will also host the red carpet for the awards. "I always look forward to walking the red carpet, so being invited as the host is a great privilege," he said.

Additionally, Gunter has established a new promotion company called Projex Mygreat where he created two new comedy shows in South Florida. The shows, Dinner and Laffs and Gigglez - The Laugh Continues, will be held later this year in West Palm Beach and Miramar areas, respectively.

The International Reggae and World Music Award is slated for Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Coral Spring, Florida. Gunter can be followed on Facebook at Rohan Mnl Gunter; Twitter and Instragram @GunterNahLaugh for more information on his productions and nomination.
