Reggae singer Devine Songz recently collaborated with Morgan Heritage member Gramps Morgan on the song Many Waters (remix). It was produced by Cornel Phillip.

"Many Waters can be interpreted as a lovers, song or an inspirational song. I think that's the reason why everyone can relate to it. The response has been very positive," said Devine.

A video accompanying the remix has been released and can be seen on YouTube.

Devine describes himself as a true lover of reggae music from humble beginnings.

"I'm the only son from a family of six children, so I have a special place in my heart for the ladies," he explained.

A former member of a reggae band called Caribbean Vybez, he has worked with producers like Dean Pond, Cornel Phillip and Obanga Productions. He has collaborated with artistes such as Calypsonian Hunter Derick St Rose and Carlyn XP.

Devine's credentials includes a cover of Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud and the single Under The Covers.

"My musical journey has been a long one. There have been good days, bad days and challenging days, but all in all, it has been a great experience. My greatest moments has been from music and also my saddest moments come from music. So music has been like a bittersweet love affair for me," he said.

The 30-year-old is working on the release of a mixtape featuring cover versions of classic rhythm and blues and oul music done in reggae.
