All set for I Believe in You
They say God works miracles and Carey Sayles is living proof of that.
The gospel singer and his wife, Sharilyn, are putting the final touches on the I Believe in You gospel concert set for tomorrow at the Karram Speid Auditorium at the Merl Grove High School on Constant Spring Road in Kingston.
The concert, which will help raise funds for the Trench Town Seventh-Day Adventist Basic School, will feature the talents of Rondell Positive, Jabez, Dennis Rushton, Hilkaiah Jones, Sayles, and his wife and the Trench Town Basic School choir.
Sayles thanked THEWEEKENDSTAR for helping spread the word about a worthy cause and helping him raise sponsors for the event.
"This came about when folks heard about the reason for the concert and decided that they would want to be a part of something like this. A lot prayers were put up as well. Much of this came after the article in THE STAR," he said revealing that sponsors for the event now include RJR, FosRich Electrical, NCU Radio, Miss Birdie, Ocean Boulevard, Ventist, Gospellink Up,
GT Sounds, and Event Edition.
Tickets are $800 pre-sold or $1,000 at the gate and can be had at York Pharmacy in Half-Way Tree and Petcom in Portrmore. The concert begins at 7 p.m.
