Dancehall artiste Romano, aka 'Jah Romie XO', has created quite a buzz with the release of his new single, titled 'Freaky'. It was produced by Dream Ink Music Group.

"The girls love the song, especially in Canada, England and America. It has this international appeal," he said.

Jah Romie XO has been fine-tuning his craft at Dream Labs studio at the Portmore Mall, St Catherine, so his fans can expect a series of songs from this partnership.

Dream Labs producer Roy 'Shaggy Streets' Newell, said the sky is the limit for Jah Romie XO. "I have recently worked with Jah Romie XO and he is one artiste Jamaica and the international market can look out for. I'm expecting great things from him, he's versatile and has a female-dominated fan base," he said.

Dream Labs is a newly formed musical entity in Portmore, founded by Newell, John Beckles and Oral Thomas. The entity aims to source and produce some of Jamaica's lyrical, raw and uncut talent found on the streets, hence their motto 'Streets Musik'.

"Our first impact was with a track call Voicenote by Ganggoolie, which took Jamaica by surprise," Newell said.

This musical journey started from the inspiration of three individuals who saw their dreams and went out to achieve it and, in the same breathe, brought forth up-and-coming musical sensation Jareesha, Nauvax and Jah Romie XO, just to name a few. Jareesha, being the first female of the recording stable, is taking the streets by storm with her strong vocals and passion for music.

Meanwhile, Jah Romie XO who is a gifted tattoo artist, has made a serious transition to the musical world and have released songs such as Raving, Real Friend Dem and Baby. He recently shot a music video for Baby. He is expected to release Bad Man Party next week.
