Alandon hits with '3 PM'
Deejay Alandon is promoting his latest single '3 PM'. The song is already a hit on social media and YouTube, garnering more than 90,000 views in less than three weeks.
Produced by DJ Barkley Productions, Alandon explained the concept behind the song.
"The story behind 3 PM is evidently what goes on in today's day and age with technology rather, social media. It's basically the most common way of making connections - direct messaging," he said.
The 26-year-old artiste who is from Waterhouse, St Andrew, migrated to Hartford, Connecticut, in 2004. Since settling in the United States he has followed his musical pursuits, recording for various producers, while developing a loyal fan base.
One of his more popular songs, 1980, catapulted him to fame and earned him the Hartford New Artiste of the Year award by Connecticut radio station HOT 93.7 WZMX in 2015.
He spoke about his musical journey. "My musical journey has been slow and progressive, and I wouldn't want it no other way because I've learn so much from this slow process," he said.
