Dotta Coppa drops new reviews
Dancehall artiste Dotta Coppa is aggressively promoting his new single Ride It Gal in the street dances of the Corporate Area, and he is pleased with the buzz it has created during the last two weeks.
"The reception has been a positive one especially from the females as the song allows them to express themselves in dance. Also on social media, (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram), numbers, in terms of followers, have increased," Dotta Coppa said.
The single, distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution, was produced by Prince Villa for PV Records and was written by Dotta Coppa as an anthem for the women who like to 'ride it'. The video was directed and produced by Media Release Entertainment and is available for viewing on YouTube.
The artiste is now turning his focus towards an eight-song EP dubbed Son Of A King, which will include Ride It Gal and his follow up single, Nuh Play.
Dotta Coppa, who is an albino like the brilliant dancehall icon Yellowman, had a chance encounter with the King of the Dancehall, at a recording studio, during which he connected with the deejay.
"Being an albino in the music business is challenging, but when I see what my great mentor has achieved, I know once I apply myself, work hard, I will provide good longevity music, " he said.
The EP will feature Nitty Kutchie, Jah Mason, Ras Gaudie, and others.
