Noface Unknown gearing up for a big Christmas
Dancehall artiste Noface Unknown is gearing up for a busy Christmas season as he is already booked for a number of shows.
"We've got a lot of calls to do shows and dub plates, so things have worked out. There are no regrets," he said.
He is scheduled to perform at the Stone Love Anniversary show on December 24 at Red Stripe Oval, as well as dance bookings for Montego Bay and Trelawny on December 30 and 31.
He recently wowed a large audience at the Trelawny Food and Music Fest, where he got resounding 'forwards' for his hit songs Tank Up and I am the Chosen.
He has gained a large following on the strength of Tank Up, which was produced for his Desconocido Music label.
The song is now tapping into international markets in Canada, Japan, Trinidad and Tobago and the US, and it has already become a street anthem in Kingston and Montego Bay.
The song soared to the number one position on the FIWI Choice Top 10 charts and held that spot for three straight weeks.
The video also hit the top ten on the Blacker Top 20 Video Countdown and the top 10 of Stampede Street charts.
"Right now, I am getting a lot of calls from promoters about upcoming shows. A lot of people want to see Noface Unknown's face but the surgery is not complete as yet, so that will happen in time," he said.
Other singles to watch for include Tonight, Happy Like This and Warning.
