Jubillant releases 'Holding On' video
Freshas Production recording artiste Jubillant will be releasing a video of his popular single 'Holding On' this week.
"The song has been doing well. According to online distributor Zojak Worldwide, the sales have been good and with the release of this video, we expect that to continue as we break into more markets overseas," Jubillant said.
The video was directed by Wayne Marshal of Marshal Artz studios.
The single, which was recorded at Tuff Gong studio, boasts an all-star cast of musicians, including bass guitarist Lloyd Parks, percussionist Bongo Herman, saxophonist Dean Fraser, and melody guitar player Lamont 'Monty' Savory.
The song was mixed by Colin 'Bulby' York.
He is booked for a show at Waterford Primary in Portmore, in December, and another show in Robin's Bay, St Mary, in January 2017.
Born Wayne Williams, Jubillant grew up in the Waltham Park and Molynes Road areas before moving to Braeton in Portmore.
During his teens, he attended Calabar High where he first fell in love with reggae music.
He recorded a single called More Gal, More Ah The Fun for independent label Freshas Production.
The song got a buzz in Portmore and became a fixture on several mixtapes. He followed up with the soulful Holding On, which has now established him as an artiste to watch.
He plans to establish his own band and to tour overseas, especially Europe.
"Ah straight music mi a deal with, but mi still juggle fi support myself. Right now Freshas Production ah tek it to the world," he said.
