Mama Kaffe works with 'Jah's Plan'
Ivory Coast reggae artiste Mama Kaffe is all smiles as her career continues to thrive. The easy-going entertainer launched her singing career in Jamaica eight years ago under the tutelage of veteran reggae musician Bongo Herman.
"I've come a long way since those early days, and I am very grateful to Bongo Herman; he played a vital role in early stages of my development as an artiste," she said.
Cognisant she needed the help of a professional artiste manager to take her career to the next level, in 2014 Mama Kaffe hired artiste manager/producer Roger Grant.
The same year she recorded her most successful single to date, a cover of Rita Marley's song titled The Beauty of Jah Plan which was produced by Grant and Paul Wrong 'Move' Crossdale.
"This song has done so much for my career. It's been out over two years now, and I'm still reaping a lot of success with it. In October it was voted the Best Reggae Song and its video was voted the Best Reggae video by the Academia Music Industry Institute which is headquartered in Los Angeles, California," she said.
Currently based in France, Mama Kaffe has been busy performing on the French reggae scene for the past year.
Always looking to improve her vocal skills, she's also working with famous French vocal coach Martina Catella.
Come 2017 will see the release of a new single from Mama Kaffe titled Crazy World, accompanied by a video and a tour of Europe.
