Iba MaHr to sound alarm in Linstead
Recording artiste Iba MaHr is in full preparation mode for the second staging of his Sound the Alarm stage show.
It is scheduled to take place on December 31 at the Dinthill Sports Complex in Linstead, St Catherine.
"The musical experience is incomparable as the show is set in the lush, cool hills of Linstead. The show reinforces positive energy and showcases the vibrancy of the Linstead town, and by extension, the nation, and is the perfect setting for New Year resolutions," Iba MaHr's publicist, Tameka Chevannes, said.
She added: "The show serves as a celebration of the town of Linstead. One of the beneficiaries is the Linstead Hospital via the Iba Mahr Foundation."
The Iba MaHr Foundation currently supports the Cheesefield Basic School in the town.
Among the acts billed to perform at Sound the Alarm are Warrior King, Bugle, Turbulence, Pressure Buss Pipe, Kabaka Pyramid, Capleton, Canada-based Exco Levi, Anthony B, Sizzla and Tony Rebel.
Iba MaHr, whose most recent album, Diamond Sox, hit the Billboard charts earlier this year, is currently promoting the song Big Machine, which was produced by Notis Production. He recently completed the US leg of the Reggae Forever Tour alongside Etana and Fyakin. He is also booked for the 2017 edition of the Welcome to Jamrock Cruise.
