45 Sound Clash set for tonight
Popular media personality/event organiser DJ Smurf will be hosting the finals of the Magnum Kickout Wednesdays 45 Sound Clash at Windshield Centre, located at 20 Arnold Road, Kingston 5, tonight, and all patrons will be admitted to the event free of cost
This is the fifth edition of the sound clash series, and it will feature finalists, Blinga J and Lexzona Sound System.
DJ Smurf promises a night of excitement and revealed that both sound systems developed a strong following during the competition.
The Magnum Kickout Wednesdays 45 Sound Clash will also feature a celebrity clash between Little Wicked and the iconic Ricky Trooper.
"We will also have a special appearance from the legendary Ninja Man himself, so patrons should turn out because tonight will be packed with entertainment. We will also have Magnum bucket deal specials all night, and we encourage people to drink responsibly," DJ Smurf said.
He also noted that competition is focused on the development of young selectors and disc jocks.
"The competition can be seen as a form of exposure and also a tool for networking. The grand prize is $50,000 and a trophy. You have a few sounds who entered this competition and got the chance to enter other competitions. So, I can safely say I am proud that my competition has been a stepping stone to progress where young selectors are concerned," DJ Smurf said.
The event is sponsored by Magnum Tonic Wine, Smurf Turf Sports Bar and Romeich Entertainment.
