D-Medz drops mix tape today
EppJam signed artiste D-Medz has been garnering both local and international attention in recent times.
The artiste has created quite a few waves with singles such as Nuh Falla (Bad Company), Pretty Little Flower and Press Button Bwoy, featuring Sizzla.
The singles form a part of his mixtape titled From A Boy To A Man, which he will launch today at Stone Love headquarters.
The event, hosted by popular radio personality Ron Muschette, will feature D-Medz' new singles as well as guest performances by other reggae artistes.
"This year has been great for me, between performing on Rebel Salute to Reggae Sumfest, and my collaboration with Sizzla gaining momentum," D-Medz said.
The artiste has been embracing all his successes and hopes that the Jamaican music industry will embrace it as well.
"I love positive music and what it does for a nation. Music is a universal language, so I do want to see more positivity coming from Jamaican artistes," he said.
D-Medz, who is from May Pen, Clarendon, is known for singles such as Champion, No Vote and Rebel Souljah, which all have strong positive messages and speak to social and economic issues facing Jamaicans.
