AIM First Fest will lead the list of major gospel festivals in 2017, returning after a two-year hiatus since being launched in 2014.

Yesterday, festival organisers revealed the line-up for the event, which will be held on Monday, January 2, at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in Kingston.

Gospel's top performers will ring in the new year with what is said to be 'a celebration of gospel's best'.

Presented by Action Entertainment in association with AIM Financial Corporation, the AIM First Fest performers include a mix of worshippers and radical ministers from local and international soil.

Grammy-nominated Deitrick Haddon returns to Jamaica to headline the festival after his summer performance was aborted due to impending storm threats to the island.

Homegrown favourites Kevin Downswell, DJ Nicholas, Prodigal Son, George Nooks, Jabez, Joan Flemming, Sister Patt, Keesa Peart, Reverend Glen Graham and Carey Sayles are all set to deliver celebrated performances.
