Hitmaker to release new J Capri song and video
Dancehall artiste-record producer Hitmaker has released an exclusive J Capri record titled Adultery.
The song features Kalado, and was recorded on the recently released 'Fornication' rhythm before J Capri's tragic passing in 2015.
Adultery is currently being distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital under Hitmaker Muzic record label.
The producer also disclosed that he has unreleased footage that was recorded during the production of the song which features J Capri during happier moments.
The footage was captured by Kalado and will be used in the new music video with J Capri that is set to premiere on December 24.
“This song is a very, very special song to me, Kalado and J Capri fans and family. This song was recorded a month prior to her death on the heels of her European tour. We were in the studio holding a joy, and we eventually took two days to complete the recording process because we wanted to get it right,” Hitmaker told THE STAR.
The producer also said he hopes the song will help to cement J Capri’s legacy and will stand the test of time, thereby making her one of dancehall’s late greats.
“Kalado is a man who records his songs on his phone and lip sync to it through the video. It is a blessing that he is that type of artiste because that a di last video vibe we have of J Capri, and we will be releasing a video on her birthday featuring those clips. Fans will see how everything unfold and R.I.P. to J Capri and sleep in peace. We really lost a special talent in the game,” Hitmaker said.
The 'Fornication' rhythm compilation also features Chris Martin, D Major, Macka Diamond, Jah Real, General Degree, Spice and Vershon.
