Prince Theo eyes local charts
Reggae artiste Prince Theo is happy about the response that he has been receiving for his recently released single, True Lover.
The song was produced by New York-based producer Michael Coburn, also known as Jah Mikes, and released on the Reggae Vibes Production label in October.
Since then, it has enjoyed heavy rotation on several local radio stations, including Irie FM and Hitz 92 FM.
"I have a very wonderful feeling about this song. Everywhere I go people tell me they love it. I'm also getting a lot of positive feedback about it on social media," he said.
Born Theodore Bailey in the parish of St Thomas, the entertainer, who made his breakthrough in 2014 with his chart-topping single, I'm Missing You, is confident that his latest release will earn him a second visit to the top of the charts.
"True Lover is a very beautiful song and it has the potential to be a big hit," he told THE WEEKEND STAR. "Right now, my team and I are putting a lot of promotion behind it. We're confident that this song is another winner."
Prince Theo began his music career in the early '90s with the release of a single, Jail House, on the Jane Linx label.
