Lady Rage set to release debut mixtape January 1
Dancehall artiste Lady Rage will be dropping her debut mixtape on the first of January 2017 and is expected to expose different sides of the artiste to dancehall fans.
The project will feature 14 tracks and will be mixed by popular street mixtape DJ Don Kingston.
Titled Hot Type, the debut mixtape will feature production from some popular names, including Yellow Moon Records, ZJ Ice, Digital Chris, DJ Kareem and Natural of Cornelius Records/Dutty Fridays Promotions.
Speaking with THE STAR, Lady Rage expressed happiness at the accomplishment.
"I am elated, it's my first mixtape and it all happened so fast. I want to say a big thank you to Cornelius Records and Dutty Fridays promotion. Fans, I will not disappoint you, and please support the project," Lady Rage told THE STAR.
Executive producer of the mixtape, Cornelius Daley, revealed that the Hot Type mixtape will feature other genres outside of dancehall.
"It hot and a all type of music featuring different producers, it's a nice mix. People should support because she is a new artiste with melody and keys. She is talented and she is bringing something different. She also has the right image and she can fill the gap in dancehall right now," he said.
Hot Type will be available digitally and in CD format.
