Canada-based reggae singer Tony Anthony is currently riding a wave of success with his single titled 'Today I'm Going To Try And Change The World' on the Big 7 Promotions imprint.

The song, which was originally done by Canadian country singer Johnny Reid, is currently sitting at the top of The Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Music Charts in New York.

The song has also registered on several other reggae charts, including the Reggae Evolution Chart (KAZI 88.7 FM) in Austin, Texas, where it spent several weeks at number one.

In Florida, Today I'm Going To Try And Change The World is currently number eight on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Singles Charts.

"I am grateful to all the people who've helped to make this song such a great success. I have to big up all my fans and the radio DJs who are supporting my music. I also have to give Big 7 Promotions a big shout out, they're doing a fantastic job," said Tony Anthony.

The St Catherine-born artiste was on the island recently promoting the song. He's also scheduled to return before the end of January to shoot a video for the single.

Today I'm Going To Try And Change The World was recorded in Jamaica by drummer Randy Patrick from the group C Sharp.

The song will be featured on Tony Anthony's upcoming album, Book of Rules.
