Pritty Di General makes waves with 'Siddung'
Recording artiste Pritty Di General is back in Jamaica with the aim of taking over the streets.
With several Jamaican artistes promoting new songs for the new year, Pritty is confident that his single with dancehall artiste Pamputtae will stand out. The single, Siddung, was released in the summer and created a buzz after a video with Shelly Belly dancing with a female to the song went viral. The video has since been premiered on Boomshot TV, and featured on several major websites.
Pritty Di General, who is also known for his song Montego Bay, is now visiting several Kingston-based events to promote his new song.
"The deejays at events such as Cheap Mondays, Side Chick Tuesdays, Nipples Tuesdays and Gallis Wednesdays are very supportive of my music, so I am very thankful for that," he said.
His promotional team is headed by Japanese dancer Kiss Kiss, who has been a support system for his music before he returned to Jamaica.
Kiss Kiss also said Siddung has been receiving support on the Japanese dancehall scene.
"I have been receiving massive support from radio stations in the US and Japan, and most importantly from the street deejays who help push out young artistes' music," Pritty said.
