Stylo G creates waves with 'Yu Zimmi'
United Kingdom-based dancehall artiste Stylo G is creating waves locally with his hot new single, 'Yu Zimmi'. The track, produced by the production team Fanatix, is enjoying steady rotation on several radio stations and across the dancehall landscape.
Stylo G, whose real name is Jason McDermott, migrated from Spanish Town to the UK more than 10 years ago. In recent weeks, he has been spotted at several hot spots while making the rounds to promote his single and music video, which was shot in London and was directed by Kevin Hudson.

Stylo G recently signed with 3 Beat/Universal, the urban-dance label which is home to acts including Sigma, Fuse ODG, and others. He also signed to Universal Music Publishing.
Soundbwoy was his first major release and proved to be his breakthrough hit, peaking at number 18 on the UK Official Charts. It was eventually certified Silver for sales of over 200,000 in the UK.
