Dancehall artiste Hydal, a former finalist in the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall contest, is branching out in the world of broadcast television.

Hydal, who has always been a sociable and entertaining person, has landed the gig as the host of the Real Talk TV show which will kick off on local television in April.

"Jah know, this is an advanced-level opportunity for me. My fans now can see and hear more from me. Mi love the streets and I'm a vibes machine, so expect some extraordinary delivery on camera," Hydal said.

Real Talk TV is a social and entertainment programme that focuses on public views, local and international news, entertainment event highlights, and special features.

After his successful stint on the Magnum show, Hydal did shows in the Caribbean and US, while recording for songs for a few production houses, including Cashflow Records.

"I just want to thank Magnum, Digicel and TVJ for creating a platform to highlight my talent on the Magnum show. I will never forget it," he said.

Hydal, who is known for his Little Board House song and his hairstyle, believes that this latest opportunity will also translate into more opportunities in the music industry.

The popular local channel on which the show will air will be announced later this month.

Real Talk TV show is created by Real Entertainment Production, founded by Andrew Pryce.
