Lutan Fyah charts with 'Music Never Dies'
Reggae artiste Lutan Fyah has reason to celebrate, as his new album, Music Never Dies, opened at number eight on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart.
The 13-track album marks the 16th release for the artiste to date and reflects the evolution of the artiste.
Released by the Virgin Islands label, I Grade Records, Music Never Dies is Lutan Fyah's first entry on the Billboard chart.
"I am very excited about this musical triumph, trust me. When I do music, I do it from my core. I evoke feelings and emotions, so that when my fans hear my songs, they are touched by my words and understand the place where it is coming from. Music is everything to me; music never dies," Lutan Fyah said.
The songs on the album range from driving anthems like Beat Dem and Nah Go Down to more reflective songs like Real Woman and Perfect Storm.
Four years in the making, Lutan Fyah brings forth a mature and unique melodic and lyrical approach with this musical offering. He believes the album will definitely appeal to authentic reggae lovers who will, no doubt, put the songs on replay after hearing them for the first time.
"This album means a lot to me. I took my time to make it perfect. All of the songs are very compelling and quite relatable," he said.
Music Never Dies is available for purchase on various digital platforms to include iTunes and Amazon.
