Aidonia, Bounty to perform at Fullyloaded in T&T
After packing the New York-based Buffalo State College auditorium as the sole headliner with more than 3,000 screaming fans, dancehall artiste Aidonia is set to make another major appearance heading into the summer.
This time it will be at the Hasley Crawford Stadium in Trinidad & Tobago on May 13 at an event called and Fully Loaded: The Festival of Sound, Peace and Love. The show will also feature fellow dancehall heavyweights Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Wayne Wonder.
But that isn't his only major upcoming gig, as Aidonia is also confirmed for Reggae Sumfest, slated for July 16 to 22 at Catherine Hall, Montego Bay. This year will mark the festival's 25th anniversary, and Aidonia will appear on Friday, July 21 on the first night of the show.
Event organiser, Joe Bogdanovich, in a recent interview with members of the local and international media, was quoted as saying, "Aidonia has been a hitmaker on the dancehall side, and he is easily one of the top five dancehall artistes currently, with several hit songs and a strong presence. I am excited to see him on the festival,"
A statement from Aidonia's camp to the press also intimated that he definitely intends to make an impact at this year's staging.
"Sumfest is always a great look, and the fans already know once the genna touch the stage, a different ting," a representative said.
