Jameik King gets deal with UK fashion company
Fast-rising dancehall artiste Jameik King is all smiles as his career continues to flourish.
The talented singjay has caught the attention of a UK-based sports fashion company called Fitness For Life (FFL).
The London-based company recently contacted his management team and expressed a desire to work with the budding entertainer.
According to King's manager, Garthfiled Whyte, he is currently negotiating an endorsement deal with Fitness For Life (FFL).
When the deal is finalised, the One Step singer will be the brand ambassador for FFL in Jamaica and the English-speaking Caribbean.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for Jameik because FFL is a reputable brand in England. They are looking to make an impact in the Caribbean market, so they want to work with artistes that can help them to draw the attention of the Caribbean people. I'm not surprised that they are interested in Jameik. He's is doing well, he's putting out good music, and he has a clean image," Whyte said.
Also in the works for Jameik King is a series of shows in the US and the UK.
"Things are coming together nicely for my career. I can't complain. The overseas promoters are calling for me now and I'm ready to touch the road and show the people in the UK and the US what I can do," King said.
The hard-working entertainer is also gearing up for the release of his EP, titled Time.
The EP, which will feature songs such as One Step, Victory Step, Carve the Road and Needle Eye, is slated to be released in June.
