Mr Vegas pleased with reception to songs
Internationally acclaimed recording artiste Mr Vegas continues to dominate on the music scene by displaying his versatility on his recently released singles Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T) and 'Self Respect'.
The all-around musician released G.O.A.T on his MV Music imprint in conjunction with Walshy Fire and Travis World on July 30, and is pleased with the overall reception thus far.
"G.O.A.T has been making a worldwide impact. It gives off a sense of cultural appreciation whenever it is played. Each time a national event comes around, we can all stand up and say we are the greatest of all time," Mr Vegas said.
With the video already racking up near one million views on his official VEVO channel, fans can also access the single on major digital streaming platforms.
The video, which was premiered on August 16, pays respect to Jamaica's rich heritage in athletics and the musical and performing arts, as well as Brand Jamaica on a whole.
While enjoying the success from G.O.A.T, Mr Vegas continues to promote his single Self Respect, which is a part of his latest production, the 'Jazmine Rice' rhythm.
The single, which speaks of women respecting themselves as well as men showing respect to women, was released in May, and the visual followed in June.
"This single is aimed mainly at my female audience in a bid to help them understand what men look for in women and what they should look for in a man. If you do not have self respect, who is going to respect you?," he asked.
Also featured on the 'Jazmine Rice' rhythm are popular artistes such as Christopher Martin, Delly Ranx, Real Image, Natel, Khago, Nyanda (from Brick and Lace), Shenseea, and Tony Matterhorn.
"It was a pleasure working with each artiste featured on this compilation because they're hard workers and very talented to add," he said.
