Gospel artistes sing for children
Gospel artiste Jermaine Edwards and Rondell Positive are set to perform at a candlelight vigil for children at the lawns at Devon House today.
The candlelight vigil, which will take place from 5 p.m.- 7:30 p.m., is in observance of World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse. The Child Protection and Family Services Agency said he event is being held to focus national attention on the issue of child abuse and the importance of protecting the nation's children.
In addition to the gospel stars, the event will feature performances from St Michael's Primary Dance Ensemble and Kingsway Preparatory.
