Kemar DaCosta, a University of the West Indies, Mona, student is $400,000 richer, following his success in KFC's #ForMyZingerChallenge.

KFC had invited persons to craft a song or jingle about what they would do and the lengths they would go to get a Zinger.

DaCosta, in his song, said he would "par with Donald Trump for the Zinger", adding that

"Thanks be to God," said DaCosta, an aspiring oncologist, after his victory was announced.

Andrei Roper, KFC Jamaica brand manager, said "Kemar's video was very well thought out and really showcased his talent, as well as just how much UWI students love their KFC Zingers."

The #ForMyZingerChallenge is one of the first awards with a prize value covering almost one year's tuition, which did not take into consideration year of study, programme of study, or academic performance.
