Stephen Dajure delivers good set on Xmas show
Reggae artiste Stephen Dajure was excellently received when he performed at the recent GT Taylor Christmas Extravaganza, held at Luana Sports Complex, Black River, St Elizabeth.
The reggae artiste graced the stage sometime after midnight to a roaring crowd, where he performed hits such as Farm Up A Land, Almighty Jah, and the crowd favourite, I'm Not A Criminal.
When asked about how he felt about the performance, he said: "I felt well received by the people; the love, energy, and vibration was overwhelming. It was the first time they saw me perform and the band did a great job; things can only get greater for I this year."
The event is known as one of the biggest events to be staged on Christmas night. The show had a line-up of artistes such as Beenie Man, Sanchez, Sizzla, Cocoa Tea, Deep Jahi and many more.
As for upcoming projects, Stephen Dajure said he and his team have been aggressively and tirelessly working to establish him as a mainstream act by supplying the demand for wholesome and conscious music.
"Right now, we are building the brand Stephen Dajure, and the team is working hard to get this done. We have a lot of good music and great projects to drop for 2018. We recently shot a video for Cool and Dreadly, produced by Upsetta Records on their Ouji rhythm," he said.
