Dann-I upbeat about first overseas show
Singer Dann-I will make his debut performance outside of Jamaica when he performs at Reggae on the Hill in Barbados on April 29. The event will take place at the Farley Hill National Park.
An obviously upbeat Dann-I said he plans to use the opportunity to spread his brand of positive messages.
"It is an exceptional feeling, and I'm truly honoured to be representing Jamaica and reggae music amongst the great reggae icons slated to be in the line-up for Reggae on the Hill in Barbados," he said.
"For now, the plan is to execute a remarkable and unforgettable performance and to also capitalise on networking with persons and to develop a larger fan base in Barbados."
He explained that fans can expect a truly energetic set.
"Being that this will be my first appearance in Barbados, the plan is to deliver an energetic and vibrant set, interacting with the audience and getting them involved. I want to use the opportunity to make a memorable impact," Dann-I said.
Other acts billed for Reggae on the Hill include roots singer Everton Blender, Queen Ifrica, Jah Cure, Tarrus Riley, Maxi Priest and Anthony B.
Dann-I recently signed a deal with Donsome Booking Agency in New York. He is currently promoting the song When She High, which was produced by Sons of Spoon Music.
