Tom Laing set for Kite Festival
New York-based reggae singer Tom Laing is looking forward to his upcoming performance at the Jamaica International Kite Festival.
The event, which is scheduled to take place on Easter Monday at Grizzly's Plantation Cove in Priory, St Ann, will also feature the likes of Capleton, Sanchez, Beenie Man, Richie Spice, and Etana.
"This will be my second major performance in Jamaica, and I'm looking forward to it. Last year, I did the Portmore Music Festival. It was an awesome experience performing on an event of that magnitude for the first time locally," said the artiste.
The easy-going singer, who originally hails from Trench Town, said that he plans to deliver a pleasing performance for his fans in the garden parish.
"Over the years, I've been putting in a lot of work, and the people have been hearing my music. Now that I have an opportunity to perform for them, I plan to make the most of it. I'm going to deliver a very good performance on Easter Monday," he said.
Laing is currently riding a wave of success with his single titled She's a Winner.
The song, which was released last year on his Top Tier Records imprint, is number 19 on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Chart and number 24 on the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Music Chart in New York.
